Whether you choose to lounge on the porch with coffee and read, take your camera for a chance to catch a photo of local wildlife or head out to explore, the choice is yours.
Canoeing
The pristine lakes of Killarney Provincial Park offer some of the best canoeing and scenery of any place in Ontario. Guests have access to quality equipment provided by Killarney Kanoes at Lodge rates.
Hiking
There are many excellent hiking trails accessible from the lodge. The view from the hilltop behind the lodge is shown on the left (approx 20 minutes). For the more adventurous the trail to Silver Peak starts at the bottom of Bell Lake (approx 4-5 hours). Killarney Provincial Park offers many trails within a short driving distance.
Fishing
Bell lake is home to Small Mouth, Large Mouth Bass and Northern Pike. The Lodge has 14' aluminum boats w/6 hp Yamaha outboards available for guests who would like to try their luck. Canoes are recommended for those wishing to fish in nearby lakes.
Swimming and Sauna
Bell Lake provides excellent swimming during July and August. The sauna deck is the social hub on the main island where people gather to chat or watch stunning sunsets. There is a small beach if you have young children in your group.
